He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Knox Riggs (Stare); his parents, Jesse Knox and Florence Koehler (Stevanus); and his sisters, Mary Koehler (Don) and Harriet Dyer (Buzz).
He is survived by: his daughters, Claudia Nethers (Ray), Laura Knox (Scott Korstick) and Brenda Mossholder (Richard); his grandchildren, Errin Howard (Bryan), Bo Hitchens (Libby), Sarah Hitchens, Ashley Farrow (Dylan Gaunder), Michael Farrow (Lindy), Jaden Korstick, David Nethers and Katie Lowe (Shane); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah, Zachary Howard, Libby Hitchens, Liam Hitchens, Shaylee, Brynlee, Brantlee Nethers, McKenzie Lowe and Dillion Lowe; and his brothers, Jim Knox (Wanda), Steve Knox (Judy) and Donald Palmer (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
