She was predeceased by: her former husbands, William Wayne Shoemaker and Charles Davis Chancellor; her siblings, Johnny Pleasant, Douglas Guy, Robert Darling, Bessie Boggan Hoskins, Rebecca Ruth Montgomery, Emma McCurdy and Gloria Boggan; and her grandson Jonathan Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her parents, Darling Boggan and Ruth Boggan; her children, Elaine Overton (Johnny) and Wayne Boggan Shoemaker (Sherry); her sister Eva Nell Boggan Oram (Dave); her sister-in-law Grayce Hargrove Boggan; her grandchildren, Ronnie Overton (Jennifer), John David Overton (Amy) and Barclay Shoemaker; and her great grandchildren, Gage, Sarah, Laney, Liza, Daniel, Sophie and Sebastian. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Virginia's memory to the First Baptist Church, WMU program, 700 N. Citrus Avenue, Crystal River, FL 34428, will be greatly appreciated.
