She was predeceased by: her husbands, Carl Smith and Edgar Roberts; and her father Oscar. She is survived by: her brothers, William, Calvin, James, Howard and Bobby Jo Nelson; her grandson Christopher Smith; her sister Mary Roque; and her children, Leon Smith, Carl Smith, Lola Larder, Kathy Stanley and Linda Hurd. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, with many nieces and nephews.
