He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Petty. He is survived by: his children, Dale Petty of Cross City, Steven Petty (Jennifer) of Cross City and Lisa Crosby (Dino) of Hawthorne, FL; and his siblings, Dwight Petty of Old Town, FL and Gail Petty of Old Town. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
