He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Bass and Julia Bass; and his siblings, Lois M. Lee, Alvan A. Beasley, R. B. Bass and Lindberg Bass.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bass; his children, Pamela June, William Semlinger, Mason Bass, Jr. and David R. Glass; and his sister Betty Ann Horne. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
