He was predeceased by: his father Ward Hendricks; his son Johnnie Hendricks; and his siblings, Ronald Hendricks, Wanda Mathis, Ella Hogan and Frances Valentine.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hendricks; his daughter Shanna Hendricks; and his siblings, Jerry "TrainMan" Hendricks, Becky Norris and Teenie Gainey. He is also survived by 11 grandkids; 8 great grandkids; and a host of other extended family.
