She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Jenkins and Arlene Jenkins. She is survived by: her husband Parrish Nelson; her daughters, Caroline Walker (Larry), Jennifer Nelson, Patricia Nelson and Vivian Williams (Marcus); her grandchildren, Keyera Walker, Ebonie Walker, Tyron Calhoun, Derrick Charboneau and Janiyah Cash; her great grandchildren, Shaquille Mitchem Jr., Tyron Calhoun Jr., Grey Mitchem and Wrynlee Chardoneau; her sister Vivan Jones; and her children, Kiyonne Teague Dawson and Tommy Carter Jr..

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Royal Temple Church of God in Christ (151 NE 224th Ave, Cross City, FL 32628).
