He was predeceased by: his parents, John Valentine and Alma Futch Valentine; his wife Irene Valentine; his siblings, Charles Valentine and Marie Donley; and his grandchildren, Kevin Valentine, Jr. and Danielle Bannister.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Valentine (Regina) of Cross City, Gregory Valentine (Dawn) of Cross City, Elizabeth Palmer (Donald) of Cross City, Kimberly Tucker (Omer) of Cross City and Karen Bannister (Danny) of Cross City; and his siblings, Jackie Valentine (Linda), Brantley Valentine (Jeri), Betty Cannon (Hurbert) and Sue McInnis. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29, great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
