She was predeceased by: her father Edward Evans; her former husband Jimmie Jerrells; her daughter Nancy Kight; her siblings, Elvin Evans, Leroy Evans, Ronald Evans, Willie Evans and Elizabeth Keene; and her grandson Alex Jerrells.
She is survived by: her children, James "Alex" Jerrells (Sharlene), Lewis Jerrells, Eda Osteen and Lisa Clements (James); her son-in-law Buddy Kight; and her siblings, Jerry Evans, Imogene Nichols, Edna Carter and Patricia Shattuck. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
