She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Dawson and Emma Glenn; her stepfather James Glenn; her daughter Jeanette Washington; and her siblings, Ralph Jones Sr., Marcellus Dawson, Luther Taylor, Arlene Jones, Idella Williams, Geraldine Hartsfield, Gloria Williams and Coreatha Harrison.
