It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley York (Crestview, Florida), born in Florala, Alabama, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martha Adams and Joseph Adams; her son Timothy Warren Gainey (Shawna) of Crestview; her husband Daniel York; her daughter Cindy Renee Long; her stepchildren, Adam York (Christina), Mark York (Melissa), Stephen York (Melissa), Patty Crawford and Stephanie York; her sisters, Sandra Rytman, Betty Adams and Lynn Rogers (Alan); and her grandsons, Joseph Alan Brannon, Erick Culpepper and Trevor Culpepper. She was also cherished by 14 step great grandchildren.
Shirley loved her community and would not want to be the cause of spreading COVID to any of her friends or family.
