It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russel Owen Byers of Crestview, Florida, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Velma Davis; his grandparents, Nell Schmitz and Johnny; and his brother-in-law Dell Schmitz. He is survived by: his niece Lorie; his wife Lisa Byers of Crestview; his sons, Justin Byers (April) of Crestview, Logan Byers of Crestview and Trevor Byers of Crestview; his grandchildren, Christopher Roller Jr. of Jacksonville, Jonathan Roller of Crestview and Kaitlyn Byers of Crestview; and his siblings, Ruth M Byers (Sayre) of Omaha, NE, Velma Ann Byers (Sewell) and Walter L (Jake).

In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to help support the local churches in our area.
