It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Jewel Carr (Crestview, Florida), who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, James R. Baker and Marvis Carr; her parents, Hurbert Johnson and Ethel Johnson; and her sister Vonice Padilla.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Baker (Nancy), Susan Baker and Ann Baker Williams; her grandchildren, Jason Adams, Eric Adams and Melissa Calamusa; and her great grandchildren, Jarrett Adams, Ava Adams, Zedekiah Calamusa and Leonidas Calamusa.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home (436 W James Lee Blvd, Crestview, FL 32536). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
