He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Shelmandine and Ella Shelmandine; his wife Gail Shelmandine (Johnston); his in-laws, Howard and Ida Mae Johnston; and his brother James Shelmandine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Kline of Syracuse, NY, Kathy Thompson (Bruce) of Crestview, FL and Marsha Dillabough (Ray) of Milton, FL; his grandchildren, Joshua Kline (Hailey), Kyrie Kline, Evan Thompson (Taylor), Justin Parow and Tyler Parow-Meyers (Tyler); his daughter Chase Thompson (Kimberly Minor); his great grandchildren, Bentley Parow, Chase Parow, Keaton Thompson, Jackson Kline, Wrenley Thompson and Kylie Beach; his siblings, Gerald Shelmandine (Connie) and Sandra Szabo; and his sister-in-law Carol Shelmandine. He is also survived by numerous cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that donations be made to The American Heart Association or The National Wild Turkey Federation.
