He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert Johns and Velvie Claire Monteith Johns. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Johns of Venice; his daughters, Kathy Stark (Paul) of Orlando and Karen Sutton (David) of Palmetto; his grandchildren, Sierra Sutton of Palmetto and Kyle Stark of Camp Lejeune; and his siblings, Joyce Draper of Old Town and Marvin Johns (Claudia) of Thomasville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Grace United Methodist Church.
