She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cushing and Marian Cushing; and her grandmother Viola Cushing. She is survived by: her husband Joe Newton Mercer; her sons, Randal Mercer (Gina) of Hope Miles and Stephen Mercer (Mynra) of Hope Miles; her sister Carolyn Lancaster; her brother-in-law Frank Lancaster of Crestview; and her grandchildren, Kathryn Mercer of North Carolina, Cortney Mercer and Fort Walton Beach.
In lieu, of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Crestview.
