He was predeceased by: his wife Elva Gober; his son Robert "Bobby" Gober; and his sisters, Mary "Boots" Hancock and Margie Gober. He is survived by: his children, Joan Kemp, Patty Crocker and Jerry Gober (Teresa); his daughter-in-law Brenda Gober; and his brother Tommy Gober (Barbara). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
