She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Brown and Mary Ward Brown; and her husband Jodie Monroe Yaun. She is survived by: her children, Mark Hicks, Bryan Hicks and Christina Lowery; her grandchildren, Ronnie, Donnie, Bryan, Garrett, Guylan and Mark; and her siblings, Kenny Stone, Helen Syble Brown Fannin, Elaine O'Neil and Elvis Brown.
