He is survived by: his close friend Betty Brooks; his sons, Dale Wayne Davis and Christopher Lee Davis (Melissa Davis); his siblings, Melvin Davis Jr. (Marie), Don Davis (Joann), Betty Miller (Melvin) and Sandra Coleman (John); his grandchildren, Lexis, Alex, Lana and Chassidy; and his great grandchild Avery.
