She was predeceased by: her parents, Epaphroditus Childs and Jessie Busbee Childs. She is survived by: her husband William G "Jerry" Taylor; her children, Teresa O'Connor (John), Lisa Blocker and Edward Taylor; her brother Gene Childs (Nelda); her aunts, Glenda and Clara; her grandchildren, Amber Hudson (Troy), Megan Phillips (Brad), Alicia Williams, Nicolas Blocker and Michael O'Connor; and her great grandchildren, Jason Hudson, Parker Hudson, Laila Phillips, Austyn Phillips, Carson Williams and Nichali Blocker. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home (436 W James Lee Blvd, Crestview, FL 32536). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Barrancas National Cemetery.
