He is survived by: his sons, Costan Larry Henderson and Jerry Max Henderson; his brother Warren; his aunt Nancy Jane; and his brother-in-law Delwin Fountain (Ina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children in Mr. Whitaker's memory.
