James Stephens Allen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2025, at the age of 69, James Stephens Allen (Crestview, Florida), born in Andalusia, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James Stephens may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Stephens touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Huey Allen and Barbara Allen. He is survived by: his wife Susie Aughtman Allen; his son Greg Allen (Kirsten); his grandchild Jude of Crestview; his great grandchild Tim Allen of Charlotte; and his siblings, Ray Allen, Jerry Allen and Ann McLeod (David).

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brackney Funeral Service Chapel (480 E James Lee Blvd, Crestview, FL 32539-2829). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
