He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Carnes; his children, Melicia Rose (Jamey), James Carnes, Jr. (Michelle) and Kimberly Hood (Red); his sister Jean Carnes; his grandchildren, Brittany, Brook Carnes, Casey Scott (Jeremy), Faith Rose, Brock Howard, Dustin Rose, Destin Rose, Zackary Ponder, Thomas Carr, Eddie LeDuc, Shellie Hood, Austin Carnes, Jayden Carnes, Chasen Carnes and Juliet Williams; his great grandchildren, Audree, Layla, Kyler, Mayson and Hadley; his siblings-in-law, Wayne and Joyce Gray; his nieces, Lisa Fox (Olinger) and Marcia Boyer (Olinger); and his cousin Coni King (Larry).
