She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy "Toss" Hightower and Annie Ruth Evans Hightower; and her siblings, Harlon, Top Hightower, Hilda Mullen, Helen Syfrett and Kitty Crosby.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Gilmore; her daughters, Elizabeth Walthall of Crestview and Kimberly Gilmore of Fort Walton Beach; her grandchildren, Annie Walthall (Harrison Jones) of Dothan and Austin Walthall (Emily) of Auburn, Alabama.; and her brother Bob Hightower of Vernon. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Flowers are being accepted as well as donations to the American Heart Association.
