With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry D. Smith of Crestview, Florida, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on June 30, 2021 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harry D. Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Williams Smith; his parents, Harry Smith and Alice Whiting Smith; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Smith; and his siblings, Marion Pohlman, Ruth Davis, Mildred Reese and Charles Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Deanna Cavanaugh (Timothy) of North Haven, Jeffrey Smith (Diana) of Milton, FL and Roger Smith of North Haven. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Legion Department of CT, 269 Main Street, Cromwell, CT 06416.
