He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elbert Acton and Audrey High Acton; his wife Rebecca Grable Acton; his children, Donald K. Acton (Alison) and Amy Acton Gillis (Tim); his grandchildren, Matthew Gillis, John Gillis, Samuel Acton and Natalie Acton; and his siblings, Paul, Robert Acton, Mary Nettles and Linda Acton. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Oak Ranch or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
