He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hendricks and Kathryn Zukas; his siblings, William, Robert and Ruth; his former wife Betty J. Hendricks; and his son Henry J. Hendricks.
He is survived by: his wife Tamako Higa Hendricks; his son Gene A. Hendricks (Linda); his stepdaughter Melanie Carey (Jim); his granddaughters, Cassandra Hendricks Courtney (Russell) and Heather Teachey Martin (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Danielle and Vanessa Courtney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
