He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Carroll and Clyde Carroll; his son Gary Carroll; his sister-in-law Pat Carroll; his brothers, Clyde Carroll, Jerry Carroll and Charles Carroll; and his grandson Richard Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Thora Carroll of Crestview; his children, Larry Carroll (Edie) of Milford, Rodney McGovern (Christy) of Crestview, FL and Marsha Lynn Paust (Bill) of Cincinatti, Ohio; his siblings, Raleigh Carroll of Lake City, FL and Mary Helen Etheridge of Crestview, FL; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Carroll of Baker, FL and Louise Carroll of Ocala, FL; his grandchildren, Barret Paust, Brandon Paust, Cody McGovern, Ryan McGovern, Brian McGovern and Amberlynn McGovern; and his great great grandchild Grant White. He is also survived by 12 great- grandchildren.
