He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Cunningham and Blanche Cunningham; his wife Erma Jean Cunningham; his son Delmus D. Cunningham, Jr.; his grandson James Allen Hawkins Jr; and his siblings, Carlos, Calvin, Robert, Royce Cunningham, Vonda Gatewood and Maxine Bryan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Myra Bradley and Sandra Hybiske (Scott); and his siblings, Joseph A. Cunningham, Jerry T. and Myra Davidson. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great grand children, 1 great great grandson.
