He was predeceased by: his parents, George Merriweather and Erlean Merriweather (Miller); and his brothers, JW Salter and George Edward Merriweather. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Lynne Manos; and his sisters, Thelma Salter, Mary Ann Guy, Mary Lou Shanklin, Deloris Phiffer and Bridget Longwood. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other close relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pleasant Hill #2 AME Zion Church Cemetery (Pond Creek Rd, Florida 32570).
