She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Phillips and Rosebud Hunter-Phillips of Greenville, Alabama.. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Claude V. Dortch; her siblings, Elizabeth "Joree" McCurdy, James E. Phillips and William "Frankie" Grimes; and her children, Dorothy Jean Phillips, Michael, Joseph Dortch, Vivian Dortch, Angela Dortch, Cynthia Dortch-McCain (Walter), Linda Dortch-Lozier (Robert), Shirley Coleman (David), Sheila Jones (Andrian), Greta Dortch, Anthony Dortch and Paul Dortch (Malissa). She is also survived by grandchildren (Five Generations), nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
