She was predeceased by: her son Gary Spence (Ebin Spence); her parents, Frank Deese and Nancy Deese; and her brothers, J. B., Andrew and Earl Gene Deese.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pat (Winston Beasley), Mattie Lawson of Andalusia, AL., Jeanelle (Tim Goolsby) and Woni (Ben Hutcherson); and her sister Jewel Boutwell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.
