She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Russell B. "Bob" Hughes and Ruby Turner Hughes; her husband Jim; her children, Bert (Vicki), Bret (Isabella), Bart (Jennifer) and Kim McBroom (Richard); her grandsons, Michael (Rachel), Brian (Samantha), Bradley, Brandon (Chase) and Adam; and also Moni Boling (Charlotte).
Because of the Covid–19 virus, there was a private graveside service.
Contributions can be made in memory of Barbara to any of the youth organizations that she was associated with, or to the charity of choice.
