She was predeceased by: her parents, Vinnie Powell and Tillman Powell; her husband John Tesla Blackburn; her brother T. J. Powell; her brother-in-law Allen Anderson; and her granddaughter Amber Kay Whittington Mobley.
She is survived by: her children, John Spencer Blackburn (Billie), James Brent Blackburn (Tabby), Brenda Lisa Urich (Roy) and Venisa Lee Boan; her sister Evelina Rebecca Powell Anderson; her grandchildren, Lindsey Blackburn, Travis Stercho, Dakota Blackburn, Brody Boan, Joselyn Blackburn and Miranda Everhart; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Nobrego, Brandon Mobley and Ashton Mobley.
In lieu of flowers the family would like money donated to the Dorcas Cemetery Fund.
