He is survived by: his wife Lachrisha Elam of Crescent City; his mother Barbara Malm of Modesto, CA; his children, Brandon Elam (Jen) of Crescent City, Cody Elam (Cassidy) of Crescent City, Isaiah Sharon-Elam (Pvt) of Crescent City, Hannah Sharon-Elam of Crescent City, Charlene Sharon-Elam of Crescent City, Gavin Sharon-Elam of Crescent City, Jonathan Sharon-Elam of Crescent City and Olivia Sharon-Elam of Crescent City; his siblings, Randy Elam (Nicole) of Mulvane, KS, Truman Elam (Katie) of Mulvane, KS, Travis Elam of Crescent City and Danielle Malm of Modesto, CA; his mothers-in-law, Genia Lindberg (Charles) of Satsuma and Sue Harris of Pomona Park; and his aunt Sue Ollis of Stanley, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
