He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Taylor and Minnie Taylor (Porter); and his siblings, Rochelle Smith, Robert Taylor and Guy Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Malissa A. Taylor; his children, Hope Combs (Robert) and Kenneth Taylor (Mechelle); his grandchildren, Christina Tessmer (Nathan), Mykah Taylor, Haylie Miranda (Chris), Hannah Taylor (Jeremy) and Hunter Kirkland; his great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Mann Miranda, Natalie Tessmer, Abby, Wyatt Rowan, Xander, Ana'Laya, Taylor and K'Naria; and his siblings, Amos Taylor, Dorothy Hall (Michael), Wanda Lynn, Mitchell Taylor (Rhonda) and Ricky Taylor (Kathy). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
