He is survived by: his children, Kenji Ray Kerns of Crawfordville, Mariko Kerns Chaviano (Fernando) of Crawfordville and Robert Jyo Kerns of Perth; his brother Ray Gregory Kerns (Pat) of Windsor, MA; and his pet Spot.
