He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Barksdale and Sara Barksdale; and his brother Ronnie Barksdale. He is survived by: his children, Jenna Lively (Earl) and Josh Conrad (Rebecca); his stepchildren, Charles Mathis (Autumn) and Myla Mathis; his siblings, Butch Barksdale, Teresa Carnley and Paula Neet (Tommy); his stepbrother Mike Patterson (Margaret); and his grandchildren, Natalie, Makenna, Carter, Evie and Maggie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lake Ellen Baptist Church (4495 Crawfordville Hwy, Crawfordville, FL 32327). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
