He was predeceased by : his parents, Miletus Callaway and Mary Callaway. He is survived by : his wife Sharon Callaway; his children, Adam Callaway (Bridget) and Thomas Callaway (Heather); his sister Sara Howell (Carl); his grandchildren, Nolan, Aaron, Brianna, Austin and Evelyn; and his uncle Angus McDowell. He is also survived by many other friends & family members.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lake Ellen Baptist Church (4495 Crawfordville Hwy, Crawfordville, FL 32327). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
