He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sanders and Mary Sanders; and his brothers, Sammy Sanders and Tommy Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Lorinda Sanders; his sons, Bryan Sanders (Angelique), Brad Sanders (Rachel) and Brent Sanders (Lacie); his siblings, Clarence Sanders Jr. (Patsy), Billy Ray Sanders (Connie), Eddie Wayne Sanders, Patsy Thomas and Bashby Thomas; his grandchildren, Zane, Tanner, Grant, Tripp, Sophie, Emma and Bri; and his great grandchildren, Cason and Tate.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sanders Hill Cemetery (8 Sanders Hill Rd, Sopchoppy, FL 32358).
