He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Abbott and Elmeta Brooks Abbott; and his brothers, Donnie Abbott and John Abbott. He is survived by: his family Tallahassee; his wife Ann Coe Abbott; his children, Lewis Abbott, Jr. (Bud) and Michele Abbott Norman (Darrell); his siblings, Bob Abbott (Pam) and Nancy Abbott Calhoun; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Coe (Patty) and Ruth Baggett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
