He was predeceased by: his father William Leonard Wilkes; his grandparents, Broward and Lizzie Wilkes; and his brother Tony Glenn Wilkes. He is survived by: his mother Minnie Mae Moats (Don) of Phoenix; his wife Gail Harris-Wilkes; his children, Amanda McCormick (Wilman) and Austin Wilkes (Katey); his grandchildren, Lidia, Rebecca, Layla, Alex and A. J.; his pet Enzo; his sister Elizabeth Wilkes (Darrell); his stepbrothers, James Delaney and Jason Delaney; and his aunts and uncles, Donald, Martha Wilkes, Michael Wilkes and Linda Wood (Ed). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
