He is survived by: his wife Sandy McPhaul; his close friends, Jake, Skippy and Sam; his daughter Sheila McPhaul; his siblings, Maxine McPhaul, Martha Barineau, Bobbie O'Kane (Wayne), June Farrell (Frank), Michael McPhaul, Jeff McPhaul, Matt McPhaul (Cindy), Debbie McPhaul, David McPhaul and Ted McPhaul; and his grandchildren, Jenni and Nic. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
