He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludivoc Bergeron and Bertha Breaux; and his siblings, Barbara Noel, Mary B. Taylor (Connie), Anna Samms, Eva Solomon, Eunice Diggles, Paul Bergeron Clarence "Pete" Bergeron, Rodney (Ludivoc), Robert Bergeron (Von) and Elgi Breaux.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo Thomas; his children, John Terry Bergeron (Leatha), Joseph Bergeron (Tina), Robert Thomas, Jermaine Thomas (Tamaria), Marlon Thomas, Willie Bergeron (Luisa), Steven Costelloe, Delana Williams (Robert) and Walea McDonald (Stacey); his siblings, Claybert Collins (Emily), Joe Breaux, Linda England (Alfred), Gayle Barlow (Wayne), Georgiana Bonner (Carl) and Delores Brown; his grandchild Twenty; and his great grandchild Eighteen. He is also survived by close friends and became husband and wife.
