He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry Clevenger. He is survived by: his wife Karen Clevenger; his children, Tonia McFarlain, Malcolm McFarlain, Misty Hollingsworth and Jerrie Aimee Mathis; and his siblings, Pee Sue Myers, Jody Clevenger, Dana Clevenger and Gregg Clevenger. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
