He is survived by: his wife Carole Elsperman; his stepson Michael Welch; his sisters, JoAnne Tillery, Mary Jane McMahan and Rosalee Morrow; and his grandchildren, Michael, Joanna, Shannon and Ethan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
