With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chester Gregory Chentnik (Crawfordville, Florida), born in Gary, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester G. Chentnik, Sr. and Helen Chentnik (Nasiatka); and his brother Eugene Chentnik of Merrillville, Indiana.. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Chentnik (Rodgers); his sons, Gregory (Felisha), Matthew (Amber) and Thomas; his grandchildren, Hunter, Holly, Emily, Wyatt, Grey and Sam; his sister Sharon Langan of Valparaiso; his nephew Jeff Langan; and his niece Stephanie Strange.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (3609 Coastal Hwy, Crawfordville, FL 32327-4210).
