He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Taff and Sena "Pelt" Taff; his wife Mary Dell Burke Taff; his siblings, R. C. Taff, Eloise Rinkle and Carolyn Spalls; and his grandson Jackson Calhoun Taff.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Taff, William Taff (Mary Kay), Scott Taff (Peggy), Peggy Holley, Jeanette Taff Porter and Sheena Cooper (Jack); his sister Mary Emma Organ; and his friends, Miss Carolyn Olah and Miss Jerline Cooper. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
