He was predeceased by: his wife Stevie Porter Jones; his daughter Sonja Green; and his brothers-in-law, Lincoln Porter (Ruby) and Othan Porter. He is survived by: his son Brian Gene Jones; his grandchildren, Brian, Julie and Ryan; his great grandchild Loren; his nieces and nephews, Billy Porter, Bobby Porter (Glenda), Myron Porter, Bruce Porter (Julie), Becky Yon (Ray), Karen Parsons (Mark), Diane Gray (Dallas) and Sylvia Porter; and his sister-in-law Lila Ruth Porter.
