He is survived by: his wife Patricia I. Zimmer; his children, Colleen Sands, Joyce Jenkins, Rosie Gainous, Mitchell Zimmer and Paul Zimmer; and his sisters, Eska Lachman and Loretta Fitzsimons. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
